I don’t want to make assumptions here. You do know that Rarity’s character design was based on the woman in the photograph, right? She was an actress named Audrey Hepburn, who was best known for playing a character named Holly Golightly in a 1961 film called Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Rarity even talks like she does, with the same affected prewar boarding-school accent that makes her sound like a female William F. Buckley or Cary Grant. Both characters even have very independent cats.
