Had to get the keyboard on my computer replaced because it broke, and I just got it back today. Also got a new iPad, so I decided to test it out with some pride drawings. I know I’m a few days late, but happy pride!

Athena moves to the Crystal Empire to look for work, and she soon comes to discover how extravagant pride parades are in the Empire. They’re a huge deal there, and practically go on all summer, not just in June. Travelers make it a point to visit the Empire during a June Pride Parade because the Empire is basically famous for them. Crystal Ponies consider “love” one of the most important virtues a pony can have, which may be why pride month is so important to them, and why it’s such a cherished holiday in the Empire.

At her first pride parade, Athena accidentally bumps face first into the Queen, Love Letter, who makes an effort to attend most pride events. Flurry, Cadence, Shining Armor, and Chrysalis make a huge effort to be a part of pride celebrations, and Love Letter is no different. Love also genuinely enjoys them! She thinks they’re very fun and doesn’t undermine the importance they have to her subjects, but that doesn’t change her wariness about Cadence.

Love’s security does make a pretty big fuss about Athena, but Love insists it’s fine, and that no harm was done. Athena will spend the rest of the day thinking about the Queen. The rest of the week… maybe the month. Here she is representing her lesbian pride! She switched out her usual collar for one that’s painted with the lesbian flag.
Rainbow Dash and Clear Sky are both bisexual, and pretttyyyy big on PDA. Dash sometimes finds she can’t help herself. Sky is just too perfect not to kiss on any good day. From onlookers it appears her “crush” on Clear Sky never really went away; when Sky enters the room Dash always gets excited and fluffy, no exceptions. Clear Sky’s a bit better at playing it cool (she doesn’t have feathers that poof up like Dash does when she’s excited). But their love really is unmatched.

At pride parades, Dash sometimes paints her wings different colors of different flags to display her support, but she doesn’t even need to, she’s already got the rainbow! Clear Sky is a huge trans ally and supporter, and will sometimes saturate the colors of her mane with hair dye to show her trans support and love.
Starlight Glimmer and the dragon lord sharing their first kiss. Ember very shyly initiated it. It very shortly after started to rain (they were outside), but there was no cover nearby so Ember just shielded Starlight with her huge dragon wings.
