Despite the creature’s warning, you decide not to turn back. Instead, you try approaching it once more — this time more cautiously —, and signal that you mean no harm.
 
Your friends follow behind you from a safe distance, some more reluctant than others. With Dawn Break’s light closer to the creature, you become able to identify it as a siren.
 
Siren: “Fine. But if you try anything, I won’t hesitate to make this cave your tomb. Now, what do you want?”
 
You introduce yourself to the siren, and ask her what she is doing in this cave.
 
Siren: “What’s it look like, that I’m here by choice? Why, it was ponies like you who trapped me here with your magic! And for what, being evil? (snort) Your so-called heroes will brand anyone as monsters if it brings them just a little bit more glory…”
 
Sea Swirl: “(To be fair, I’ve met nicer fish—)”
 
Sweet Biscuit: “(Shhh‼)”
