Greetings, fellow students! I have transferred over to Flim and Flam’s completely legitimate university to continue my Season 8 Homework Assignments. Surely their accelerated curriculum plan will allow me to catch back up with the (US releases of the) show before too long! Anyway, today’s comic is based on Friendship University. If Discord is my favorite reformed antagonist, then the Flim Flam Brothers must be my favorite recurring antagonists. It was fun to see them take on a new scheme and try to beat somepony other than Applejack at their own game for a change… and they finally sing a new song! It’s been too long! Twilight’s actions and motivations seemed a little… iffy to me, but other than that this episode was a blast!
 
Well, I used the Flim Flam Brothers in my comic for Grannies Gone Wild, so it’s only appropriate that I reference Grannies Gone Wild in this one. I feel like if Rainbow Dash were in this episode, her priorities might be a little… different from Twilight’s. Looking back at it, I’m not entirely sure WHY they closed down the roller coaster in the first place; it seemed like a pretty popular (meaning money-making) attraction, and we already know the Wonderbolts were regulars! …Or maybe it was just more crowded during that episode because everypony knew it was about to shut down. Either way, I’m sure Dash has filed petitions.
