Well, if that’s the metric by which we judge pictures, sure. But I judge them by whether I want to download it to my MLP picture folder, and whether I will want to see it again. And most of the pictures don’t live up to that metric, so I spend a lot of time hiding artist and oc tags and individual pictures like this, and I’m currently up to 13815 hidden tags.

Also, people may just have downvoted because it’s not a particularly well-drawn picture.

Just keep in mind. There are people in this fandom who are just complete jerks to Spike for little to no good reason at all.
 
That’s why I stand up for Spike. He’s one of those characters who get so much hate when they really don’t deserve it.

There are only a few spike haters, although I have always wondered why fans are obsessed with male characters in “GREEN” color. It is true that Spike is purple skin but “his hair is GREEN” so he counts as a green character for that done.
 
Sorry, I deviate from the topic, the point is that the fantastic have an obsession in a huge way for the characters of green color, either skin or hair or both and we can mention as an example these characters for which the fandom are obsessed
