Fluttershy has a DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree and is Ponyville’s main veterinarian. She runs her own clinic, and has converted her old cottage into an animal shelter. Over the years, she’s grown and matured a lot and is now much more assertive than she used to be: she’s undeniably the mistress of her home and has become confident in her leadership of her clinic. But though she’s changed in that regard, she’s still an introverted mare who loves some nice peace and quiet.

Flutters had quite the crush on Big Mac, and vice versa, but both were hesitant to do anything until AJ and Dash conspired to set the two up with each other. Their relationship was shaky for a while because of how nervous they both were - Fluttershy out of low self-confidence and shyness, and Big Mac was paranoid about his bad luck in relationships (the love poison incident with Cheerilee, finding out Marble Pie was more interested in his cousin, and Sugar Belle not liking being long-distance). However, they were able to slowly work things out and establish one of the strongest relationships in Ponyville.

They wanted to have more than one child, but Finch’s pregnancy and birth were hormonally and physically rough for Fluttershy. But though she has only one child, she’s the second mother to most of Ponyville’s children.

Goldfinch
Male pegasus, 19 years old; a relaxed and chill guy who takes life one day at a time. Calm and soothing like his parents, but way more extroverted. Confident and self-sure. Very much a big brother figure for many in his generation around Ponyville. Bit of a doofus, has a great sense of humor and loves laughing at dumb things. Gets really loud and excited when discussing things he’s passionate about (especially music). Put together a rock band, Zap Apple Jamz, with his friends – he’s the lead guitarist. Into older mares.
