The mid-summer sun beamed brightly across the soccer field, the smell of freshly mown grass filled the air, and the sounds of the songbirds rang throughout. It was the perfect day to be outside…
 
So why did Rainbow Dash feel like dying?
 
“Come on, thunder thighs,” she muttered to herself as she lumbered her way from one end of the field to the other. Despite having to endure each heavily burdensome step and clumsily lousy kicks, sending ripples and shockwaves through her doughy body, she gritted her teeth and continued on with her drills. “It hasn’t even been 20 minutes. You can’t call it quits now.” Unfortunately, dribbling a soccer ball around just didn’t feel the same.
 
Even at over 400 pounds, Rainbow was still fairly fast for someone of her expansive size. Though to her, it didn’t amount to much if her body wasn’t as energized or dexterous as it was before. It felt so long since she last worked out like this, she had practically yearned to do it all again.
 
She knew it wouldn’t be easy at all coming back to this after her ankle injury. But now, after all that legwork in such a constricting 2XL uniform under the blazing heat for what felt like hours, she knew when she had reached her limits.
 
Rainbow slowed to a stop, resting her hands on her hips as she took a moment to catch her breath. “Alright, no biggie,” she panted, bending down to pick up her ball. “Just gotta take 10, then I’ll pick up where I left off.”
 
RIP!
 
The sudden sound startled her, heart sinking slightly. She looked back to find just what she had feared would happen. The seam of her shorts burst open, revealing her bright red underwear out in the open. Disappointing, embarrassing… but hardly surprising.
 
“Or, maybe I should wait for the 3XL uniform to come in.”
