Original Description:
Narrator: “Spike prepares a talk with Ember and Smolder at Dragon Land.”
Ember: “So, you called?”
Spike: “Yes, I did! I wanted to introduce you and Smolder with a pony that I have only met one time before.”
Smolder: (to Ember) “And it doesn’t look he’s talking about Rarity…”
Spike: “She’s Pinkie Pie’s sister, and a fan of rocks. Her name is Maud Pie.” , especially Twilight Sparkle. But I feel like he’s mentioning somepony we don’t even know about. (to Spike) Who’s this pony you are talking about?”
Spike: “She’s Pinkie Pie’s sister, and a fan of rocks. Her name is Maud Pie.”
Smolder: “Maud Pie? I never met her.”
Spike: “Oh, come on, you two. It does make sense because dragons love rocks as much as ponies do. After all, me and Rarity have been knowing much information about rocks several years now. Smolder, you have known Rarity very well and how much you care about her, you even helped us out on missions.”
Ember: “I think you’d be better if you quit talking about rocks.”
Spike: “Aww, come on. Don’t be so hasty. I want you and Smolder to meet Maud Pie in Ponyville. I’d bet she would know dragons in some sort of way.”
Ember: “I doubt that.”
Smolder: “I think he has a point, Ember. It’s always nice to meet someone new.”
Ember: “If you insist.”
(scene transitions to Ponyville, where Maud Pie is at her home, focusing on rocks)
Maud Pie: “Boulder, what does it to mean to have the best rock around? You, of course.”
Pinkie Pie: “Ooh, that just made me laugh!” (laughing)
Maud Pie: “Rocks are really just my thing. They, indeed, are the best thing to study at any time you wish.”
Pinkie Pie: “And don’t forget that friends are important as well.”
Maud Pie: “True.”
(door opens)
Spike: “Maud!”
Maud Pie: “Spike?”
Pinkie Pie: “And he brought Smolder and Ember with him? This is unusual. He normally just be with one of them. Never thought I’d see him with both dragons instead of just one. Isn’t this crazy?”
Spike: “Not really. Now, as I was saying, I’d like to introduce Maud Pie with Smolder and the Dragon Lord, Ember.”
Smolder: “Nice to meet you! I’m Smolder, and I’ve been friends with Spike for a long time now! Isn’t that cool?”
Maud Pie: “I doubt that it is cool.”
Ember: “Pleasure to meet you. I’m the Dragon Lord, Ember. Me and him have also been friends for a very long time.”
Maud Pie: “Ember and Smolder? Very interesting names. My name is Maud Pie, and this my pet rock, Boulder.”
Smolder: “How can a rock be a pet? That’s very weird.”
Pinkie Pie: “Don’t be a silly dragon. Any object can be a pet. Besides, talking objects are always a pet.”
Spike: “I think we should head for the lake. It’s kinda silent there.”
Ember: “Hmm, I’ve used to go to a lake with King Thorax once after we made amends with each other. I’m thinking this idea of yours can actually work out fine, Spike.”
Maud Pie: “I will be back very soon, Pinkie Pie. I will tell them more about me when we get to the lake.”
Pinkie Pie: “Bye, Maud!”
Narrator: “Later that night, Maud Pie and the three dragons have been more likely listening to the story about Maud Pie, her pet Boulder, as well as her siblings. The dragons are more likely determined to question about her rock as a pet.”
Smolder: “Are you saying that Boulder is a pet? I thought Boulder was just a rock.”
Maud Pie: “Like Pinkie said, an object can be anything. When I was a filly, I have been very well interested in rocks, just like Limestone and Marble Pie. One day, when I was looking for rocks, that is when I got my cutie mark. When I grew older, I found one rock that would interest me. It was small, but I decided to name the rock “Boulder”, and take it as a pet.”
Ember: “Well, that’s an interesting story and background.”
Spike: “I’m so glad we are hearing her background.”
Smolder: “You’re the oldest, right?”
Maud Pie: “Actually, I’m the second oldest. Limestone Pie is the oldest of the Pie sisters, Pinkie Pie is the second youngest, and the youngest being Marble Pie.”
Spike: “I just wish you could show me the other two sisters, since I’ve only met you and Pinkie for a while now.”
Maud Pie: “I’m not so sure about that. Limestone and Marble might not know dragons as much as Pinkie Pie. Luckily, I’m getting the chance to know dragons more, even though my main focus is about rocks.”
Spike: “At least you and I have saw each other for the second time, like, right now.”
Smolder: “Is Maud a scientist or something? It’s like she’s that good with rocks and all of that.”
Maud Pie: “While I’m not a scientist, I’m just that good at experiencing rocks in general. Rocks, diamonds, and all sorts of stuff, are what come to my mind when studying them.”
Ember: “Could I try holding onto that rock you’re carrying?”
Maud Pie: “Please be gentle with Boulder.”
Ember: “Okay.” (takes Boulder from Maud Pie’s hoof and place it in her hands)
Smolder: “A rock can’t talk, and it can’t move.”
Ember: “Still, Boulder has potential.”
Spike: “Rocks are very good for studying and playing with sometimes.”
Ember: (giggling) “I’m starting to get into the hang of rocks right now!” (laughing)
Maud Pie: “See? Rocks are always there by your side.”
Spike: “Could I have a turn with Boulder?”
Smolder: “Oh, come on, let me have a turn. The rock is actually beautiful to me. I really like the design!”
Maud Pie: “Sorry, but I’m afraid we’ve been here for about an hour. My family would want me to be with them later, so I gotta get going. Don’t worry, maybe you can play with Boulder another time.”
Spike: “I guess that just leaves the three of us. Let’s get back to Dragon Lands and get working!”
Ember: “Sure thing. I gotta challenge Garble for another race. The last time I recall, I lost to him, so I return him a favor.”
Smolder: “Hmph. That dragon thinks he’s so tough when he’s not.”
Spike: “Here we come!”
(Ember, Smolder, and Spike fly off)
(door opens)
Maud Pie: “I’m back, Pinkie.”
Pinkie Pie: “So glad that you’re here. It’s been almost an hour!”
Maud Pie: “An hour may be a long time, but me and Boulder still have work to do like the others.”
Pinkie Pie: “Did any of the dragons get the chance to play with Boulder?”
Maud Pie: “I decided to let Ember play with Boulder. There wasn’t enough time for Boulder to play with other two dragons because it was getting late, and I had to return and see my family later.”
Pinkie Pie: “Well, we better get hurry and get going before Limestone yells at us.”
Narrator: “With Maud Pie knowing the dragons a bit more thanks to the help from Spike, she decides to think about dragons a little bit more while rocks have been her main focus. And so, Maud Pie is looking forward to meeting the dragons next time they meet.”
