Just a short comic this week. I’ve decided to do the Changeling flashbacks in a slightly different style to set them apart from the other parts of the comic. They’re a little bit more Manga than usual, and I’m using color differently as well to add emphasis. It’s not a style that I’m used to drawing in, so its a bit sloppy.
 
Yes, this deviates significantly from established canon, but that was always the plan. When I wrote the fan-fic that this was based on there was no Changeling lore at all, so I made it up as I went along.

Shadows of the Past is a continuation of my previous web Comic “Without Magic”, in which Twilight was tasked with finding out out “what makes her special as a pony” outside of magic. You do not need to have read Without Magic in order to enjoy Shadows of the past, though some scenes will make more sense if you have.
