Backstory: Daydream was created from magic the same time Alyssa Rice was born, except the only difference was that Daydream was born in the Dreamworld, while Alyssa was born in the waking world. Daydream also met Alyssa for the first time when the latter was a foal.
 
Thanks to her meetings with Daydream in her dreams, Alyssa had been able to remember them completely. One notable dream she had was that she saw Prince Flaring Shield and Princess Blossom as a romantic couple. Thanks to Daydream being able to preserve that dream, Alyssa managed to remember it, which sparked the adventures of Alyssa Rice and Friends. Since the group of seven friends has been getting recognition, Daydream has been meeting other ponies besides Alyssa in their dreams.
 
Whenever Daydream isn’t meeting with other ponies, she usually tries to protect her Dreamworld from nightmares and danger. She also aspires to become a princess so she can rule the Dreamworld to her heart’s content.
 

 
Remember my old MLP OC Dreamy Eyes? Back when I made her, I originally intended for her to be an AU version of my main MLP OC Alyssa Rice, just like how Vivera Belle was an AU version of Destiny Blood. However, since I’ve had decided that Vivera Belle would be in the same universe as Destiny, Alyssa, and the rest of my MLP OCs (I’m going to call this MLP universe the Alyssaverse), I’ve decided that I didn’t want this OC to be alone by herself and make her be part of the Alyssaverse. And I honestly feel sad that I didn’t get to use this OC as much as I wanted to :( (Sad)… But fortunately as of late, when I started having vivid dreams and the ones that come true in real life, I originally wanted to make an OC inspired by one of my favorite singers, only to find that I can actually just redesign this OC again to my liking, rather than create another one from scratch (Plus that’d be a waste if I did the latter). Hopefully, I’ll be able to draw this OC more in the future. :) (Smile)
