Yeah, rule 4 is a tricky beast. We often have discussions among staff about it. I know which donkey OC you’re talking about, and so far we’ve been yeeting those pics. It’s so far from MLP that it’s really unrelated. Whereas this is a lot more grey. At least this looks like it could be from the show.

That’s a bit confusing to say…. because isn’t that just a unicorn OC? Pretty sure that one is alright.

I’m okay with this. It’s closer to MLP style than many things in official media.
 
If any furryshit should be removed, it’s stuff like >>2779113 .

I’m more forgiving with canon characters becoming furry, but not oc’s. That’s literally what being a furry is.

Have to agree. The sphinx form looks like a furry wolf with bat wings. Little if any resemblence to a sphinx, MLP or otherwise.

I think that’s just a bit of a grey area with the rules then. Because you can have a pony OC with a lot of furry type content/species swap stuff that would be allowed in that case. While I’m not familiar with much right off hand, I know there is some out there. There was also a donkey OC I seen recently on derpi that was basically in a lot of anthro all furry orgy type of stuff but was still on there simply because a donkey is an MLP race it seems. Barely MLP at all by that point and technically not pony at all either.
 
But I don’t enforce the rules… I can just (and sometimes do on here or derpi) complain about them. :)

If that was just how the oc is, I’d probably wanna yeet this image. But given that this oc is normally a pony and that this is a species swap, that’s why it’s allowed on pb

And I agree, this is just a furry OC, not a MLP one imo.

That looks closer to a wolf or fox then a sphinx. It always confuses me why pony/derpibooru allow this style when it is effectively a furry with no MLP ties. The irl sphinx is a lion’s body with a human head as seen in Egypt. The MLP sphinx is the lion body with a pony head. When these OC’s are effectively just a lion OC but being called a MLP sphinx it just makes no sense to me.
 
In this case though it’s just a fox/wolf/dog or something… not a sphinx in any way.

But sphinx cats have no fur.
