Original Description:
Because Twilight was the mascot of a popular toy franchise, and I used to think of the Equestrian Girls as monsters, she became the inspiration for the deity Mithura, a toy who became the goddess of death worshipped by a race of monster dolls. As a result, I sometimes associate Twilight Sparkle with death and destruction; in spite of this, she would be a gentle psychopomp, if she replaced the Grim Reaper.
The rosy maple moths surrounding Twilight are a Vozonid symbol of death; more specifically, a sign that someone is welcomed into Paradise.
