Backstory: Sometime after being born in Canterlot, his family moved to Manehattan where he was raised there. Growing up, Bravo had difficulty deciding what his destiny should be, despite his enjoyment of parkour and dance. Eventually, Bravo earned his cutie mark after using an umbrella as a shield to protect a friend of his from gangsters one day during rainy weather.
Despite having earned his cutie mark, Bravo spent most of his life pulling carriages around Manehattan. On some occasions, he would be rowdy along with his friends and go to jail for petty crime a couple of times. He eventually met his mentor after getting released, whom he would later look him up to as his father. Bravo settled back to Canterlot, where he worked in a spy organization headquartered in a tailor shop in Canterlot’s Saddle Row. On one of his missions, he met an attractive but suspicious mare named Poison Rose, whom he took her in to be his date, after rescuing her. However, little did Bravo know, Poison Rose was actually a black widow who tried to murder her exes for their money (All of her exes dumped her for obvious reasons). Poison Rose was also the reason why Bravo had unexplained anger issues among his comrades during their visits to Ponyville. That was where he met Vivera Belle for the first time. Although Vivera Belle was distrustful of him at first due to his anger issues, until one day, when he protected her using an umbrella after she was harassed by gangsters. That was when Vivera Belle fell in love with him, but whenever Poison Rose was around, she was shy to admit to him. However, when Vivera realized Poison Rose’s true colors, she ended up saving him and getting him out of the relationship before it was too late. Because Bravo was one of those ponies who genuinely cared about Vivera, the two have been close to each other since.
Besides Vivera Belle, Bravo was also great friends with Friday the 13th. He first met her at the tailor shop that housed the spy organization, when Friday was trying to find a suit for herself to wear. From dancing with her at the Grand Galloping Gala to sacrificing himself to save her from bad luck, Friday has never been grateful to have a friend like Bravo.
If anyone was in need of being protected from harm, it’s Bravo Bond who’s usually the one for the job, and despite what he goes through, he’s happy to be a spy.
