Applejack is second born out of four children. She stepped up fast to help her mother, Pear Butter, care for the farm after the death of Bright Mac and Granny Apple. With the help of her and her brother, it was easy to keep Sweet Apple Acres running. Eventually, when Applebloom and Cherry Syrup were old enough, the farm was able to expand to include pears, oranges, strawberries, grapes, blackberries, raspberries, etc. Applejack prefers working with the apples of course, her draft genes making it easy for her. She’s stubborn and honest and loyal and so hard working. And absolutely in love with her silly teacher wife. She was also the one behind having an army of foals, having always been determined to have as many kids as she could. Family makes the heart grow with each member, after all.

Cheerilee is the primary grade teacher, with Twilight Sparkle being the secondary teacher. Cheerilee heavily prefers foals between the ages of three to ten, she finds them the easiest to work with, which is why she sticks to being a primary grade teacher. Even so, kids are always a handful. The first time Cheerilee and Applejack talk seriously is during a teacher conference with Applejack after Applebloom headbutted Diamond Tiara and drew blood. Granted, after Diamond Tiara bullied her. Cheerilee agreed that both fillies needed to be talked to, and was invited to Sweet Apple Acres. And she had a massive lesbian heart attach watching big buff Applejack doing her farm chores. It was then that she decided she wanted to date this strong farmer. She’s still a crazy blushy mess even after all this time. She even agreed to an army of foals even though she only wanted two max herself. She loves all her babies though.

Third born Sunny Side is the blasphemous of the family. She absolutely hates farming. She always has, ever since she was young and Applejack forced her to help around the farm. It’s just not her cup of tea. She prefers to be inside, with Grandma Pear, preserving the fruits and cooking food. It led to her talent, and the second she could get out of the house, she was out. Her job is a simple cook at a luncheon restaurant, specializing in breakfast foods. But you’ve never had a breakfast before she’s made it for you. She’s actually pretty grumpy, not really living up to her name, though, of course, past the hard eggshells, she’s soft and goopy inside. She hates that analogy though.

Second born Identical twins, somehow? They’re a bit of a miracle, Strawberry and Watermelon. They’re identical despite being different sexes and having different(yet similar) cutiemarks. If it wasn’t for their cutiemarks, they’d be nearly impossible to tell apart. And it seems like they prefer it that way. It’s rare to find one without the other, almost like they’re two halves of a whole. It makes it very confusing and most of Ponyville has decided to sort of.. ignore the weirdness. They run the best candy shop in Ponyville together.

It’ll take him awhile until he’s able to get his cutiemark, he’ll be mostly grown by the time he’s old enough to help make the cider his family sells annually that’ll give him his cutiemark. Even so, he never loses his way in the process. He’s adored by all his siblings, even Sunny Side, but especially Gummy Fruit. Hops is pretty close to his Grandma Pear, and very close to his Momma Cheerilee and Cherry Syrup.

Gummy Fruit is the oldest of the army, first born and tertiary mom to every single one of her younger siblings. She was thrilled to be a big sister, and her adoration grew with every single addition to their growing family. Gummy is an absolute sweetheart and spends so much time with her siblings, it’s surprising she gets anything done. But she does. Always helping around the farm, usually harvesting, and sometimes taking up her siblings chores, though she’s sad that they’re all moving out and leaving the farm. Currently, she’s closest to Hops, since he’s stuck at home being the youngest. Gummy plans to take over Sweet Apple Acres and is excited for that day.
