“Speak for yourself, darling,” Rarity said as she was finishing off her latest platter. “I’m still rather famished. And unfortunately, the portions here aren’t really doing much for me.”
“No surprise there,” Sunset muttered to herself as she rolled her eyes. Now that Rarity’s gotten to the point of needing a scooter to move herself around, her appetite seemed to be the only active thing about her. Though, the gamer girl knew she was one to talk as soon as she began to struggle with heaving her own massive body off of her chairs.
Suddenly, at the sight of Sunset standing up, one of the waiting staff rushes up to the table. With an eager grin and a worried set of eyes, he seemed particularly high strung and anxious. “How are you ladies doing? Did you enjoy your meals? Are you ready to leave? Please tell me you’re ready to leave.”
“Well, my friend here is ready to go. But, I’d like to order another platter of sandwiches. And this time, perhaps some more B in the BLTs, please,” Rarity explained as she held up her last sandwich before taking a huge bite. “And perhaps another side of pineapple-teriyaki wings, stuffed peppers, and seasoned fries. Both regular and curly. And I also need another helping of the clam chowder bread bowl.
“A-anything else?” The waiter gulped.
“And a glass of water with a lemon wedge, please. Thank you.”
“R-right away, ma’am,” The waiter stated before quickly walking off.
Rarity smiled as she turned back to Sunset, stuffing the last of her sandwich into her mouth. “Anyway, it’s a shame you’re full already. The staff love having us around.”
“I think ‘fear’ would be a better word to describe it.”
