Twilight Sparkle’s Research Log #35:
 
It’s been a month since Steelclaw’s allowed me to research the biology of the special Longma species, something I’ve never had the chance to do yet, and we’ve finally come to the part I was most excited about, the internal organs. He offered to use x-ray spells or the like, but I wanted a more… personal experience.
 
No spells were needed, as he was already big enough to swallow me whole. He said that he can protect me from anything inside, as he can gain full control of all autonomous functions if and when he pleases. With that, I walked up to his waiting maw, ready for the most fun I’ve had researching of my life.
 
The difference from dragons was clear the moment I stepped onto his tongue. It’s much softer than a dragon’s tongue, even though he shares a similar diet. I looked at his shiny teeth, which share all characteristics with dragon teeth aside from more blunt teeth for soft foods and a lack of plaque.
 
I slid up to his throat, and my excitement reached it’s peak. I could see the glow of his fire sack from deep inside as his quite nice smelling breath washed over me. I felt both excited and calmed, a strange combination of emotions. His uvula swung around as I looked at it, patting me in the face. His tongue and head lift up, and I was ready for the next step.
 
His throat parted open, ready for me to slip inside. I just lay limp, letting nature take it’s time. Somehow, I felt not even a slither of fear, something that I should feel in this situation. The only thing I feel is that I’m home, a new home ready to comfort me for as long as I like, perhaps even forever.
