This is a tactic that probably only works in D&D, where you yourself are a force to be reckoned with and you’re backed up by party members that, even if they don’t know exactly what happened to you, are capable enough of laying a smackdown on top suspects.

Twilight Sparkle: “I don’t care what you do to me. I just want to see her. I want to know what you’ve done with her.”

(Cadance’s eyes glow green)
Princess Cadance: *“Very well.”*
(beat, Twilight is surrounded by flame)
