The character was inspired by a silly thought for an admittedly incomplete next gen “O”C:
 
Parents: Discord/Fluttershy (They appear to be living together in the series finale).
 
Name: Akanbe (because in “Scare Master”, Fluttershy is a confirmed weeaboo/otaku). The “Shy” part of her name was taken from Fluttershy’s family. (Mr. Shy, Mrs. Shy)
 
Appearance: She has a yellow pony head with a pink and white mohawk mane, fangs and buck teeth (the former like a snake and the latter like a rabbit), a long, ferret like body, a raccoon tail, the forelegs of a fox and a lobster (with an oddly dextrous claw), the back legs of a deer and a pony, and bat wings. Also, a look into her eyes reveals that one eye has a yellow sclera, red iris and a white pupil (Like Discord) while the other is a normal blue pony eye (like Fluttershy).
 
Day Job: She helps her parents at the animal sanctuary (introduced in season 7), and as such has learned to take care of animals.
 
Backstory: Not much really. Akanbe was conceived by Discord and Fluttershy. (Get your mind out of the gutter! Did you seriously think that Discord would go about reproduction the normal way?) From there, she grew up as their daughter and was raised to both embrace the weirdness of being a chaos-spawn and the kindness of being a caretaker. Past that, she has no real trauma or tragedy; instead just being a goofball who happens to care for others; and also have a bit of a work-ethic from helping to tend to the animals at Flutterhy’s Sweet Feather Sanctuary.
