next up on the older mane six set is PONK. i love u ponk.
 
i mentioned in dash’s one that with age, ponies coats tend to get whiter/greyer. this shows in pinkie by an increase in her lighter splodges, particularly around her face (where its also slightly grey). her mane is also more desaturated at the tips.  
her age here is the same as s9 finale. i took the things out of her hair because goodness GRACIOUS  
so ive mentioned many times before but ill repeat: pinkie is the result of an affair her mother had. her father was emotionally distant and abusive towards her mother, and on trips out of town, her mother would seek the company of a rough and tumble pink pegasus. she loved her - but once she found out she was pregnant, things had to end.  
igneous resented pinkie and all that she stood for - and because of it, a lot of pinkie’s childhood was rough. her father was harsher on her than any of his other daughters (knowing she wasnt his own daughter) - while her mother grew more and more emotionally distant/unavailiable. pinkie’s got some family issues and a lil splash of C-PTSD from the years of abuse and neglect.  
but now, she’s married to cheese sandwich, with two healthy and happy daughters. Because of her own family issues, she is incredibly loving and supportive of her kids - but in the same vein, struggles to actually punish them. cookie will idk commit arson and pinkie will just say “ : ) whoopsie!” - and maybe a “that isnt very good!” with some coaxing  
cheese is very supportive of his wife, but sometimes he cant quite understand pinkie’s bad days. the two clicked so perfectly together, because cheese could match pinkie’s crazy ecstatic energy - but some days, behind closed doors, she’s just not that - and pinkie finds cheese has a tendancy to try and “fix” it and make her happier. - its well meaning, but its not what she needs. goes to vibe with twilight instead, who gets it a bit better than cheese does (he’s a little hurt by this, but knows that he cant do everything, and sometimes couples need space from each other).  
but most of the time, she is a sugary crazy ball of chaos, even at an older age.  
she inherits sugarcube corner from the cakes, who find a nice quiet cottage on the outskirts of ponyville to live out their days in. Pumpkin Cake trains under Pinkie’s wing at sugar cube corner, and is quite the baker.  
love heart is very quiet, but coming from a family with very quiet sisters, pinkie can read her pretty easily. same goes for her nephew crystal - and honestly, the way she talks about both of them, you’d think theyre just as loud as she is (and they are! just not. in terms of volume. loud personalities, small voices).  
cookie is very much like her parents - and her best memories from childhood are baking (and making an absolute mess) with her mom in the kitchen. pinkie is chaotic by herself, but mix that chaos with the excitement and imagination of a small child, and you get a destroyed kitchen. the cookies always turn out amazing though, somehow.
