I know what you’re saying: ‘He did what? No! Let SilverQuill keep his original character that he made. his designs better’ And yet, I don’t disagree with you people. It’s what Silverquill said about the Hyppogriff’s design when he made that MLP movie reaction on YouTube and I quote:
 
“Props to the staff for designing such unique Characters. I read in the art-book for this Movie, that they really wanted to make characters that look nothing like other Fantasy. And they changed up the Hippogriff look very nicely to match this. However I (Silverquill) am very fond of this OC. I’m fond of the work I’ve put into it, I’ve worked with this character for several years, I’ve no intention on changing it since the movie’s come along. I am simply another breed of Hippogriff, a crazy kind of Hippogriff. A bizarro-griff if you will.”

and it’s ok if fans make him like the hippogriffs in season 8, MLP Movie style, or just regular with your own style and art type. Anyway wanted to make him part Lionfish and Pufferfish since he has quills and has fabulous wings….also cheek feather fins….what else would you want? Also glowing tips on the head like Princess Skystar.
