Meet Cherry Sour! Eldest daughter to Bon Bon (Sweetie Drops) and Lyra Heartstrings! Which means she’s the older sister to Mochi.
 
While Mochi took after Bon Bon’s talent, Cherry took after Lyra. Not on purpose so much as pressured into it. While it did end up being her talent, in a way, she still holds some resentment because she didn’t really make the choice herself. Instead, she’s determined to be the best. At least she has that choice. Her talent is really being able to take something that would sound bad, and turn it into something beautiful. Broken instruments, pieces deemed unplayable. Yet, she still tries to play just prestigious concertos, solos, and sonatas. She’s good, but not the best. She’ll never be the best. If she must be second, she’ll attach herself to the very best and the most popular. She’s besties with pop sensation Berry Tart, and has been since she was a filly. She helps write some of her back up music and has been her cohort in nastiness their whole lives. There’s good in her, but only under a thick outer shell of mistrust.
 
 
Fun Facts:  
When she was a filly, Cherry always dreamed of being a super spy. She never knew about Bon Bon’s other identity.  
Cherry is very protective of her baby sister, even if she finds her annoying.  
She spends about two hours on her mane at a time, if she’s going to be seen by others, but on manic practice days, she drops personal hygiene in the sake of music.  
She actively and openly has a crush on a certain Apple. They’ve had an on again off again relationship, mostly because he doesn’t like her nastiness towards others.
