Some new OCs for Flurry Heart’s Story that I have designed. You’ve probably already guessed it, but yes, these are Cozy Glow’s “parents!”
 
They are both snooty, rich, upper-class ponies who have clearly spoiled their daughter and filled her mind with selfish thoughts, and when Cozy returns, they will no doubt fuel her imminent revenge quest. They apparently rule their own kingdom far away making Cozy Glow their princess and somehow they are alicorns. But how on earth did nopony know about them when they were alicorns? Are they actually alicorns and royalty? Are they even her real parents? It makes absolutely no sense! :confused:
 
I dont’ think anyone has done something like this yet, but I thought it would be an interesting idea if Cozy’s parents had the same type of cutie mark as her, only as king and queen chess piece sets since she is a rook, and their own royal regalia are fashioned after the pieces. “Kriegspiel” is a type of way to play chess which I discovered when I started researching chess terminology and this one fit perfectly. I have legit considered giving them an army full of knights and pawns, accompanied by a bishop. And in the same vein of Discord, when Cozy takes over, the entire floor will be in a checker pattern. XD
 
Now I know a lot of people are going to consider their designs and the fact that they’re alicorns to be a little overdone and far too good to be true, but let’s just say there’s a reason to all of that. For now, these two will still be a complete mystery until I get to the story involving Cozy Glow’s return which eventually leads up to this pic which gave me the idea for a story for her comeback:
