Finally gave this boy a cutie mark woop woop!
 
Freyr’s body is too heavy for him to fly properly. He can glide from high places enough to evade danger, but he cannot take off from the ground like the average pegasus. This most likely has to do with his rather dominant earth-pony genes (and the fact that his father, Rockhoof, is built like a solid brick wall and is a Guardian of Equestria). He keeps this fact to himself, especially since living off the grid 90% of the time can be rather perilous without the use of his wings. The only ones that know about it are his mother and father. Daring Do constantly worries for her son’s safety, but Rockhoof does his best to reassure her. After all, he’s their child! Who could be better prepared to explore the world?
