“How are you feeling?”
He doesn’t answer.
“When was the last time you took a break? Aren’t you tired?” She asks.
“I’m fine. I don’t need a break.” He says aggressively. It’s clear the line of inquire bugs him.
“What’s happening after you are done with the runes? Are you bringing them somewhere?” Mulberry says, changing the subject.
McClank looks around, pausing his clanging for a moment.
“I do not know. The guards are going to put them somewhere. Leave me to my work or I will eject you from my store.”
Mulberry contemplates if McClank realizes what has happened to him, or if he even wants to realize. It’s hard to believe he couldn’t notice though. For now, she won’t press the matter.
