Full name: Princess Twilight Sombra  
This adorable nervous wreck is the daughter of Twilight Sparkle and Radiant Hope. She carries on the “Twilight” family name, as well as being named after Hope’s childhood friend, who has since moved away from the Crystal Empire to start anew.  
(He currently lives in the Everfree forest)  
BUT ENOUGH ABOUT HIM!
 
Twilight (Sombra, not Sparkle) spends most of her time writing- creative, spells, or otherwise; or flying around, admiring the night sky. She’s definatley a night owl, and appreciates the tranquility of it.
 
Her magic is extremely powerful (and somewhat unknown, being some of it stemmed from Hope’s Umbra magic). So powerful, in fact, that it actually surpasses Twilight Sparkle’s! Of course, Twilight (Sparkle, not Sombra) and Hope couldn’t be more proud!
 
Finally, many ponies are actually afraid (or at least feel threatened by) of her power, making it kind of hard to make friends with anyone other than the infamously accepting residents of Ponyville. Her oldest friend and confidante, however, is much more surprising…
