Page Turner’s unique unicorn magic is that she can summon constructs based on the contents of a book she is touching. Being a massive fan of Power Ponies–the Vice President of the Canterlot Power Ponies Club, no less–these are usually the characters she summons upon for help. Her constructs are solid-magic projections that replicate the personality, knowledge, form and skills of a character or object from any printed media she is holding, provided she has read it first. These constructs don’t last very long, are only as strong as their summoner, and reset upon re-summoning. Despite similarities in magic with Radiance, Page Turner’s favourite ponies are Masked Matter-Horn and Fillisecond.
Personality-wise, she has always been shy and uncomfortable around other ponies, which came about after being bullied for her height as a filly in school (despite being the same height as Fleur de Lis, Fleur went to private school and never experienced bullying). Talking about comics is the only time she is able to open up, leading to her Vice-President position. Despite various attempts to be befriended by fellow club-member Spike, she finds his royal connections too intimidating and clams up.
