Description

-The idea came from watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic S09E26(i.e., the epilogue episode) where I saw the “older version” of Applejack wearing Granny Smith’s kerchief on her neck, her hair in a bun like Granny, and her tail braided in the fashion young Granny used to do. I felt that it was such a wonderful nod to her, and I got the idea to show this scene of her touching the kerchief and thinking of Granny. In all the rush of the shipping of Appledash, Fluttercord, and others, I worried that perhaps Granny’s passing would be quickly overlooked… so I decided this was the least I could do. Besides- it’s Inktober!

-This is a drawing I did for Equestria Daily for their “Drawfriend Stuff” posts
