I don’t think any of the characters here intended for every session of the Gala Ticket archplot to start or end up with Rainbow Dash as the focus, because I certainly didn’t intend or plan it that way. It’s honestly just sort of how it turned out, writing from one moment to the next.

Twilight Sparkle: So Rainbow Dash, at long last, has earned her Grand Galloping Gala ticket?
DM: Once Celestia crowns her the Best Young Flier, it’s only a matter of time.
Twilight Sparkle: Finally.
Rarity: Finally.
Applejack: Finally.
Pinkie Pie: Finally!
Fluttershy: Finally…
Rainbow Dash: Yeah, finally!
Rarity: You don’t get to complain.
Rainbow Dash: Uh, why not?
Rarity: It’s similar to why I can’t complain about my Thieves Guild throwing a wrench in every session.
Rainbow Dash: We’ll complain for each other, then!
