I don’t have exact dialog this time around, but I imagine that when Fizzy was starting to leak but still trying to keep moving toward the bathroom, which is far away, Wind Whistler told her that as it was already too late, the most logical course of action was to let go and spare herself further pain, and that she would help clean up.
Of course, Fizzy is out of time and doesn’t have much choice about letting go, and is starting to cry as she fully soaks herself, and Wind Whistler, who knows she’s a bit out of her element when it comes to dealing with emotions, hesitates about but has to try to comfort her friend. So… she puts on the sympathetic smile she practiced in the mirror about a hundred times, and holds her, telling her it’s okay. Yes, she’ll get splashed, and end up standing in the puddle by the time Fizzy’s empty, but comforting her friend is more important.
Of course, Fizzy starts putting herself down, saying she’s such a baby, and Windy would tell her that this is something that’s happened to almost everypony, including herself. Fizzy would find that unbelievable, and our stoic scholar would be unable to keep a small blush off of her face as she mentions that more than once, she’s been so deeply into working on a project or researching something that she put off certain needs until it was too late…
