Description

Decided to take some better pictures of her. She has been sold to none other than Andy Price himself, and I will be handing her off to him at Cincinnati Comic Con this weekend! :D

The original photo is here, if you’re feeling nostalgic:

First of all, if you do not read the IDW pony comics, do so. They are second only to the main show in terms of awesomeness (and in some ways, they are even better). Wheat Grass here is from the third issue of the Micro-Series comic (Rarity’s issue, which is the best of the bunch so far, in my opinion). I fell in love with her design the moment I laid eyes on her, and after reading the comic, she instantly became one of my favorite characters; I’d love to see her again in some form in the future. :D

As far as I know, no one else has made a plush of Wheat Grass, so this might be your only chance of getting her!

She was a ton of work to make, but I think she’s turned out the best of all my efforts so far. Her hair gave me fits, despite its simple appearance, and I’ve never made pony clothes before, so that was a new experience as well. I know I say this every time, but I think she’s my favorite that I’ve made so far. :D

Special thanks to the awesome masemj for creating an excellent vector of her eye and cutie mark. https://www.deviantart.com/masemj/art/Wheat-Grass-Color-ref-sheet-374731574
Thanks a bunch, man! :-)
