Part 1: The Logic Machine
Part 2: Master Control Core
With hesitancy, Chet approached The Logic Machine, every Steampunker was wary of Gauss technology and it’s ancient unpredictable nature. She’d come too far to shy away now, she thought - placing her hoofs on the rows of semi-legible glyphs.
In response, the bound steel drums began a slow, monotonous ticking, and the inconspicuous black window at the centre danced with a green light for a moment, before falling back into darkness.
Chet eyes glittered with elation as she saw movement behind the glass, and gingerly wiped away the silky layer of dust. She stopped and stared, unblinking - Struck by awe, curiosity and a sense of dread.
Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick.
Just Like Clockwork.
