Today is #InternarionalBowDay , which celebrates the fashion accessory, the bow (whether it’d be bow ties or hair bows). I’ve never said this before, but to me, some of the most adorable characters in animation are the ones that wear a bow on their head. To me, it gives the characters some childlike wonder to their overall appearance, not to mention the amount of cute moments they have (like Isabella saying “Whatcha doin’?”, or Apple Bloom acting like a normal kid). Here, I chose some of the most recognizable female characters from animation that are known for wearing bows on their heads (at least from the shows/media I’ve watched). Anyone who complains about a character missing (like Helga or Webby) or why I chose these characters over others will have their comment marked as spam.
 
I added Sayori in because, despite being a video game character, I would feel bad not to include her, because I consider her to be my favorite character in Doki Doki Literature Club!. I love that she’s a bit of a klutz and that Wikipedia labels her as a “childhood sweetheart”, making her friendship/relationship with the protagonist/player all the more cuter. Also, I thought it would be fun to draw the chibi style represented in the game, because the chance of me drawing in anime style is a complete pipe dream.
 
Also, I’m pretty confident that the most dedicated of Loud House fans would get the thought bubble joke.
