Description

The Western Pegasai are quick, agile, and silent. Their military specializes in hit and run tactics, as they are rather frail otherwise. Their bodies are very lean and streamline, allowing for less drag than that of a Central Pegasus. They also have a secondary pair of smaller wings behind their first that allow for much more fine manipulation in flight. Inherently, this also allows them to turn much faster than any other known Pegasus strain. They are also able to fly at speeds similar to that of Central Pegasai after they have produced a sonic, chromatic barrier breach (See Rainbow Dash) without needing to break it themselves. This means that Western Pegasai are by far the fastest flyers, regardless of magical intervention.

As seen here, the Pegasus is wearing very light barding with minimal coverage. Though it may seem ineffective, veteran soldiers are often seen with nothing but their blades, as less armor means less drag, giving them even more effective maneuverability. The soldiers are also trained to think on the spot and to create abstract strategies on the spot to make sure that any enemy cannot find a pattern in their offensive or defensive planning.

Typically soldiers are enchanted to have sky blue fur on their underside and a sandy brown on their upper body fur to blend in on both sides. However, the soldier seen in the image is a new recruit going through training, as in battle Western Pegasai tend to stay silent verbally to keep all sound to a minimum, making them well suited for night raids.

In battle, they tend to stay on their own to confuse the enemy and make sure that no formations can be found. However, when striking in formation an enemy can be quickly cut down or overwhelmed by multiple timed attacks in very rapid succession. This strategy is usually saved for high priority targets, but they have been known to do it at random to keep their enemies guessing as to what is to hit next. This means for slower flying Pegasai, like the Eastern Pegasai of The Kingdom Of Haven, can easily be taken advantage of. (This does not include Eastern Pegasai when they are wearing Heavy Armor)

The Western Pegasai, though frail, are fast and agile, dominating the sky with their exalted prowess of mid air combat and precision strikes, along with randomized, organized chaos war strategies make them a formidable force to be reckoned with no matter the situation.
