Treehugger loves smoking herbs and getting in touch with things she calls ‘watchers’ or whatever. Greenie doesn’t mind, since mama tells the best stories high but dislikes when she does it in the house. The smell gets overwhelming and he gets dizzy. Plus he can’t get the smell out of his mane and ends up getting strange looks when goes shopping.
Greenie is very good at haggling. Not as good as Sweet Deal but his carefree smile gets many adult ponies to underestimate him. The stallion selling to him is a friend of Treehugger and sells to her often but is a bit unsure about selling to a foal. Somehow, Greenie convinces the stallion to sell to him with only a sweet smile and an innocent response.
Greenie loves his dad, even though he isn’t home a lot. But, to make up for that, Trender will always sit down and listen to his little colt ramble about his day until he falls asleep. Greenie would then tuck his father into bed and get back to cleaning the house, planning breakfast for his parents.
Greenie, despite his mother teaching him how to be calm and cool, has quite the temper, especially when somepony talks about his family. They make fun of the fact he always smells like weed. They call his father a deadbeat for never being home and accusing him of having affairs. They called his mother a drugged up old lady who barely takes care of her child and probably had him with some other stallion. Greenie didn’t like that and bite that colt, hard. Treehugger had to pick him up from school and take him home. He will never regret his decision.
Okay, several notes:
I decided to make Green Tea have dreads, at least when he was a kid. Mama Treehugger wasn’t the most attentive mom but Green Tea never minded. He liked taking care of his mom and the house while his dad went out to work. He ended up growing up very responsible and loving despite sometimes being lonely. It’s because of this that he came to be friends with Hazy.
Some of you might have noticed that in all my previous pictures of Green Tea, that his eyes are always closed. Well, he does that purposely. He doesn’t like his eyes and really only shows them to his family or friends. Also, I was thinking of making Treehugger natively (the pony version of) Scottish, hence why both she and her son are redheads. I don’t know why but I like the thought of a stoned Treehugger telling stories with a thick Scottish accent and Green Tea picking it up and using it when he gets pissed off.
