Confetti Surprise certainly likes the blue boys ;) Lightning wasn’t the first guy she ever had her eyes on. Being best friends with Galaxy Guard gave her the chance to get to know Dusk Star as well. And boy, he was cute. Not only that, but smart and an all around nice guy. Connie’s young adolescent heart couldn’t help but skip a beat at the sight of him!  
Connie was around 14-15 when she had her crush on Dusk, who was in college at the time. It was also around the time she was dating Galaxy. Gal wasn’t impressed by her girlfriend leaving her for her brother, but she’d had a feeling her friend was never into girls anyway. Her only issue was that she knew her brother would never return the feeling.  
Well, Confetti figured out eventually that Dusk was gay and her feelings for him faded. There wasn’t any heartbreak involved; she knew it was just a schoolfilly’s crush. Later on, she’d find herself going after his best friend~
