“Fine! Do what you want. I’ve already made it plenty clear what I think.” Krabby trotted ahead of the group with a scowl firmly planted on his face.
“Wooooooow what a sourpuss! Anyway, thanks for vouching for me random pegasus kid!” Vanilla beamed, and Bolt chuckled nervously, mumbling his name under his breath as an attempt to respond. Vanilla either didn’t notice, or didn’t care. “So where are we headed?”
“Ah, well, we’re checking out Sugarbolt’s competition for the Science Faire…” Truffle pointed at Bolt as he mentioned his name. ”There’s a kid, named Kid… kid named Kid? Kid named Kid. Anyway! Kid is the favorite to win the competition this year, but I’m sure Bolt can beat him!”
“Oh… I know him! Sorta. I know of him. He’s got some big wig parents, they run Prodigigigus Energy or something like that. They work a lot with my parents back home in Dartmoore. He’s supposed to be super duper smart! Good luck, random pegasus kid!” Vanilla giggled. Bolt halfheartedly muttered some thanks before lifting off to fly with Sundrop.
“Dartmoore…?” Truffle thought aloud. “Never heard of it.”
