Meet KWANKAO, the official pony mascot of the Kingdom of Thailand (Thai Brony Community)

Kwankao’s design was created by nebula210, she was introduced in a deviation submission on November 8, 2014. Her name Kwankao is a Thai word that when it is literally translated in English means “Gifts of Rice”. Based on the description given to her, she was a “Cute little mare who works on her family’s rice farm”. Her design is based on Thailand’s title as “The Largest Rice Exporter in the World”. The Brony Community in Thailand technically had two pony mascots, one is Kwankao, representing the Thai Brony Community and the other one is Siammy (an OC created by Legacy350) which represent the Thailand PonyCon.

Kwankao is a cute little mare who works on her family’s rice farm. Despite time being tough on her, she always worked hard and never gave up. Her perseverance and resilience helped the family business pull through and prosper.
