Prince Cupid wandered down the halls of Canterlot Castle, after having some tea with Cloud Whisp. His hair bounced from his faster pace and he examines the wall decor, taking into mind for his own home. He kept his eyes around him but didnt notice the changeling, alicorn hybrid turn a corner and began to walk towards him. Cupid finally spotted him and stopped in his tracks, feeling intimidated by the taller stallion.
 
“Prince Cupid, a word please” BedBug’s graceful voice echoed around the tall halls as he stopped in front of the other prince, his face unemotional and straight as he looked down. Cupid made a nervous smile trying to seem friendly and unfazed.
 
“Oh, Be- Prince BedBug, Its nice to see you” he felt confident in his reply and looked at Bedbug with a small smile.
 
“May I ask what you were doing at Cloud Whip’s bed quarters? I do have the authority to ask of course” he kept his monotone attitude while talking.
 
Cupid gulped and looked at him with a lightly harsher look “Well I was having tea, a small chat and just discussing things, I dont see why your so interested” he smiled and went to move to the other stallions side to get around him and leave, but noticing this BedBug put a leg in front to prevent it as his eyes narrowed.
 
“I can see you were telling the truth, but why bother? Dont you have servants at the crystal empire to tell your tales about you competitions with?” Cupid took a step back and looked up at him
 
“Well- of course I do but is it a crime for me to be making friends with other royals?” his gaze turned to the right, not wanting to see Bed’s death glare on him.
 
“It is strange. May I ask what your intentions with my sister are?” BedBug kept his glare while his long tail waved slightly. Cupid made a slightly shocked expression not expecting that question before he looked at the other stallion, a wave of anxiousness over him.
 
“my intentions? Well to- to be friends of cou~~” A loud thud was heard as Bedbug’s tail hit the ground, echoing through the hall. The smaller colt making a dumbfounded expression and put a look on him about to say something but being cut off.
 
“Don’t play as an idiot, I dont have to be an intellectual to know that you have feelings for her. You are just lucky we are not related by blood, else her changeling instincts would have sensed it. Now I dont accept this especially with you a playboy, who enjoys the attention, I protect her, I dont want her to just be another piece of trash to you and if you try anything be sure that I will do somthing” his voice seemed to spit venom while his tail waved more behind him, his wings appearing defensively as Cupid seemed to have had a moment of fear.
 
The smaller colt was about to speak as his voice seemed shaky but quickly brushed it off “I’m afraid im not an idiot, and dont you dare say I’d do anything like that to her! Im not some play boy who uses his authority to his advantage, you seem like more of a person to do tha~~” Cupid looked to the side before hearing Bed bug’s horn glow and regretting his words, taking a step back. Bed bug growled a bit.
 
“How dare you, I’d have your pride ripped right off if it wasnt of my sister’s fondess of you” his eyes were like ice towards Cupid before his ears flicked, quickly resuming his normal state and turning his head to see a small changeling mare look up at him with weary eyes.
 
“Prince Bedbug, you’ve been requested to receive dinner with your family, your mother called for you” her tidy hair seemed to glow with the light through the windows. BedBug turned his body and nodded at the mare
 
“Thank you, I shall leave now. Please accompany Prince Cupid to a train home, and assure he has” Cupid swallowed and looked with anger at the taller prince but began to walk with the small maid, glancing at bedbug and noticing him glaring back before leaving the castle.
