Bio:
Topaz is the firstborn foal to Duke Blueblood and Duchess Rarity. His birth was a tad controversial due to his species, but the talk was soon quelled when he was shown publicly. He looked so much like his parents, it was undeniable who he was the son of. He grew up in Canterlot under the loving care of his parents, every day in splendor and comfort. But despite the comforts of home and the friends he made, the highlights of his life came about whenever his mother took him to Ponyville to see his many ‘aunties’ and their foals. It was during one of these trips that he discovered his cutiemark. As he grew older, he decided to make a life for himself in Ponyville as well as support his mother’s work, taking over Carousel Boutique and making that his work space. He is at peace with his decisions and lives a happy life in Ponyville with his friends.

Fun Facts:
-He adores his little sister Rose Gold.
-Despite his big, burly appearance, he’s very gentle.
-He’s good friends with Jessant de Lis and Aperture Trim, mainly due to their parents being close.
-He’s really close with Princess Aria, having been best friends with her since they were foals.
-Much like his mother’s “jewel finding spell”, Topaz can sense the jewels in the earth through his hooves (think Toph from A:TLA).
-He has a nice singing voice, and is part of the New Ponytones.
-He has a pet cat named Sardonyx. And yes, she’s one of Opalescence’s many kits.
