It’s a new day here at Equestria Daily’s Artist Training Grounds, and I had a lot of fun with this one! Today’s prompt is Draw a pony facing the unknown / Draw a pony in the Twilight Zone. Today, we see intrepid researcher and adventurer Twilight Sparkle exploring the Ruins of Alph in search of the mysterious creatures known as the Unown, but she does not seem to be having much luck in actually locating them. I felt the need to go with the Pokemon reference as that is one of my favorite game series; generation 2 specifically is one of my favorite video games period. I put a few references into how I organized the Unown surrounding our purple protagonists; can you spot them all?
 
I also decided to be smarter with how I handle magic, and actually made the aura on a separate layer to the rest, making the transparency easier to incorporate and look more natural as well. Twilight seems to have a knack for incorporating both prompts through her dialogue, it seems.
