HERE THEY ARE FOLKS

discord’s part of the next gen :V

here’s some info on them and discord before i go into more detail:

during his chaotic reign, Discord took many wives. However, many of them could not carry a draconequus child, and so he had no heir to his throne. Distraught, he tried everything he could do continue his bloodline, but had to resort to creating artificial life. Of course, being the god of chaos, he could make anything appear and change at his will, but he was attempting to create a powerfully magical heir to the chaos throne, which proved to be very difficult. His first attempt resulted in a hairless, featherless, and virtually magic-less mish-mash of alicorn, lion, and bat. Frustrated, but still having hope, Discord tried to create a second, proper heir, which resulted in a more normal-looking unicorn, only she had the forelegs of a lion and the hair of a squid. Despite his efforts, Discord couldn’t keep his chaotic nature out of his unnatural spawn, and so he cast them away as foals to care for themselves. Fortunately, they were both taken in by a kind witch-pony in the forest, who raised them until she passed away. The sisters then set off on their own separate ways, not seeing each other for many, many moons (they had gained Discord’s immortality, or what seemed to be it.)

Their names are Chicken Wings (top) and Calimari (bottom), and i adopted them from SleepyDoodles!

I’ll come up with some more info on them in a bit. Ethereal, the draconequus I submitted to the kilalapanverse contest and kept, will be tied into this story at some point, either as reformed Discord’s lover or daughter~
