((Definitely had to do the Mane 6 genies as merponies similar to the film. ^^
 
I should probably mention of course that in Genie Twi’s canon. It’d probably be easier to fit it that Twilight is statue’d and Luna takes her place in saving the day. Because otherwise Genie Twi probably would of been able to handle Tempest. Tempest would be aware of the danger Twilight presents most, so she probably sneaks one of those magic spheres directly at Twilight before she even understands what’s going on. I’m probably not going to go too deep into talking about how Luna taking Twilight’s place changes how it all goes. But the end result is ultimately the same.
