이 카드에 그려진 해는 셀레스티아 공주님의 해가 아닐세. 이 역시 어떤 불경한 무리들이 섬기던 옛 태양, 또는 하얀 뿔 태양이라 불리는 것이라네. 이 태양이 비추던 시절에는 땅에서 흰 뿔 같이 생긴 나무가 자랐다고 하더군. 이 태양 역시 셀레스티아 공주가 아무도 모르는 곳에 봉인하고 다른 태양을 만들어 띄웠다고 하네. 이 옛 태양 카드가 의미하는 바는 지금의 태양이 주는 이미지와 크게 다르지 않다네. 활동적이고, 풍요롭고 의욕적이며 행복을 상징하지. 물론 그 행복이 포니들에게도 행복이었을지는 확신하지 못하겠지만.
 
The sun depicted on this card is not the sun of Princess Celestia. This is also called the old sun, or white horn sun, served by some unholy crowd. When the sun was shining, he said that the ground grew up like a white horn. This sun also says that the Celestia Princess sealed it where no one else knew and made another sun. The meaning of this old sun card is not much different from the image of the present sun. It is active, rich and ambitious, symbolizing happiness. Of course, I’m not sure if that happiness would have been happy for ponies, though.
