So I’ve gotten an idea for a new MLP fanart-thing. I don’t think it’ll evolve into a full-blown comic or anything but I’ll end up uploading scenes with fic and the like.I have a few characters that are not from Equestria (named Marelan.) The rest of the characters are all next-gen.
 

 
Name: Quartz Pie  
Gender: Stallion  
Age: Young Adult  
Parents: Marble Pie (M) and Double Diamond (F)  
Species: Earth pony  
Special Talent: Gemology  
Occupation: Jeweler
 
Background: Double Diamond met Marble when Pinkie brought her to one of the Sunset Festivals in his town. He made her feel special, and got her to laugh. They started to date, and he slowly brought her out of her shell. Eventually they decided on having a foal, and so Quartz was born. Quartz was always a quiet foal, and his parents were happy to allow him to do as he saw fit. Eventually during a visit to see his Aunt Maud, he discovered his love for gemstones and crystals, and so decided to study them for himself.
 
Personality: Quartz is very quiet and shy. He is sweet toward the few friends he has. He has a bit of a stutter when talking to new people.
