This original artwork is inspired by the episode “A Flurry of Emotions” from Season 7 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. And since there was plenty of cute moments in the episode, I thought I would make a scene that’s like when Twilight Sparkle gave raspberries to Flurry Heart, but underwater. Here’s how it went.
 
With all the stress that Twilight Sparkle has to do while also babysitting Flurry Heart, she decides to go to the spa to relax. But upon entering the spa, she sees Candace, Shining Armor and Flurry Heart there too.
 
“What are you three doing here,” Twilight asked.
 
“Same thing as you, Twily,” said Shining, “To relax. But don’t worry about Flurry. She’s taking a small bath with Candace.”
 
Twilight looked up at the wooden tub to see Candace scrubbing Flurry’s hair while the baby alicorn makes small splashes. “We could’ve used the bath back at the Crystal Empire, but it wasn’t working right,” Shining said again.
 
Twilight, delighted to see Flurry again, wanted to spend a little more time with her, and at least there won’t be any work to do as well. So she walked up to Cadence. “May I finish giving Flurry her bath,” she asked. Cadence looked the Twilight in surprise. “Oh sure thing. But don’t let her drown okay?” “You have nothing to worry about,” said Twilight.
 
Cadence gets out of the tub and Twilight gets in. She picks up where Cadence left off. But once Flurry sees Twilight, she wants to play with her. Twilight shakes her head. She wants to go by what Cadence said. Yet, Flurry gives a sad look. “I can’t say no to that,” Twilight said, “Okay, but just once.” And with that, Twilight and Flurry went down in the tub, holding their breaths. Cadence and Shining look up in shock.
 
Underwater in the tub, Twilight uses her magic to hold herself and Flurry down on the bottom. The two smiled at each other and swim around in the tub. Twilight catches Flurry and holds her down. She gives her raspberries on her belly and Flurry laughs as bubbles emerge from her mouth. Then, another magic force begins to pull the two out of the water.
 
Cadence and Shining look at Twilight in anger. “What did I tell you,” said Cadence. “I know what you told me, but she didn’t drown. I was using my magic to keep her safe.” “You sure,” said Shining. “Yes,” said Twilight, “Look how happy Flurry is.” The two parents look at their baby, who’s feeling very happy about what Twilight did. “Well, if you make her happy, then that makes me happy too,” said Cadence. Twilight smiled and gave Flurry a hug. “Best Aunt Ever,” she shouted.
