However, Kyra had refused to write in it. Despite how upset and stubborn she was, Twilight kept persuading her to write at least a sentence.
At this very moment, Kyra was about to levitate the feather quill towards her when her bedroom door creaked open. It was Comet Dawn.
Comet’s blue eyes glowed in the darkish room, and Kyra pouted as she saw his entire face come into view from where she was.
“C’mon, Comet. I’m just about to write in the journal.” she grunted at the unicorn.
Comet’s eyebrows raised in shock. “N-now? I thought you told Twilight that you’d never write in it.” His voice showed pure confusion.
In return, Kyra just growled. “Yeah, yeah. Times change. Go away, Comet.” She then went back to opening her journal and skimming through the ripped pages to find a fresh page. Suddenly, she felt a plop! and a slightly heavy weight force onto her back. Looking over, the unicorn stared Comet down. What good was he to Twilight’s kingdom, if he were to just trot around and bother every single pony that trots in?
Even though Kyra was miffed at the moment, Comet gave a cute little smile. “Y’know, you’re cute when you scrunch your face up like that,” he told her softly.
Kyra couldn’t help but grin back. Comet always knew how to brighten up the place, even if she’s feeling down. There was something about the stallion that she admired; but what?
