Emerald excuses himself and Ruby, and then they step out.
 
Letting the doors close behind them, the pair sit beside the door looking out at the camp site. Emerald looks for anything he sees that seems to be out of the ordinary.

There doesn’t seem to be any more noise or bustle, but Emerald does get a distinct feeling that bodies are systematically going from one tent to another.
 
Emerald takes out his focus and hands the filly a book and shows her parts she should practice. He begins to cast his shield spell on Ruby, keeping it on her as long as he needs to before it drops.
 
Emerald asks if Ruby is okay at the moment, and if she needs anything.
 
“Hmm? No, I’m good. Hey, are those guys really as dangerous as you say?” Ruby asks, “Maybe we should just lay low for a bit.”
