Artist’s notes:
 
So I finally caught up with the new MLP episodes and it seems that I made up my mind at last for the Next Generation of the Cutie Mark Crusaders. To be honest I never thought I’d get motivated enough to design kids for the CMC but apparently I was wrong.
 
Peppermint Cookie  
Parents: Apple Bloom/Tender Taps  
Age: 5  
Peppermint is considered the voice of reason in the “Cutie Mark Crusaders 2.0”, despite her young age she shows a mature personality that isn’t seen much often and that prevents her and her friends from getting in trouble……Most of the time. She can also be playful sometimes and lift her friends spirit when they need some cheering. Her favorite time of the year is Winter and her favorite holiday is Hearth’s Warming because that means she can eat all the peppermint candy and cookies she wants.
 
Celadon Caldron AKA C.C.  
Parents: Scootaloo/Gabriella  
Age: 6  
Hyperactive and always excited about everything, C.C. loves to hang out in Zecora’s hut and learn about potions and every “weird mojo” Zecora works with. C.C. looks up to Lucky Moonflower and whenever she visits Ponyville C.C. follows her around like a little sister because Lucky is the only Griffon/Pony hybrid she knows.  
C.C’s second name was Gabby’s idea and it was meant to be her first name, she wouldn’t change her mind but Scootaloo managed to pursue her to add Celadon as the first name. C.C. doesn’t mind her name though, she thinks it’s funny and unique.
 
Raven Song  
Parents: Sweetie Belle/Rumble  
Age: 4  
Raven is a delicate and innocent little Unicorn with a very melodic voice. Targeted often in school recess by the bullies for not standing up for himself and being considered “girly”, but Peppermint Cookie and C.C. always stand up in the middle to protect him. Raven doesn’t like to go out much but his friends always encourage him to hang out and he ends up having a wonderful time.
