So I’ve been meaning to draw Shetani again for awhile, outside of a full sheet for her. Officially, she’s like… an odd combo of Dr. Facilier and Nicki Minaj, which i think is awesome.
 
updated her a tad, her fangs are gold, and the other pony there some of you may recognize, but in case not, that’s Glitch Pop, son of Octavia and Vinyl Scratch.  
I wanted to show Shetani’s habits. She likes giving ponies what they want, at a cost. Common trope, I know, but I like how it fits her. She has her father’s chaos magic, but she has to move it through something physical, like a charm or a doll, or a potion. Discord sees it as more or less of a crutch but Zecora’s not so sure.
 
So yes both parents are aware of what Shetani does, but they know they can’t and won’t change that themselves. Discord’s giving her a secret thumbs up and Zecora sees her more of part of the natural order, a balance. She is who she is.
 
I chose Glitch Pop here because he’s a trans-stallion, who doesn’t want to go through a physical transition. Because of this, other have a hard time seeing him as male, and he has a hard time finding love. He’s lonely and there’s nothing he wants more than to not be that way anymore. How will this go? Who knows!
