Emerald, as smoothly as he can, asks why she is so wet if it hasn’t been raining.
 
“A-am I wet?” She says, patting her robe all over, “I-I’m sorry! I must have ran into something on the way here. Part of the bad thing about not being able to see well, eh-heh…”
 
Luckily the waiter comes over before he has to explain his joke and asks for his order. Emerald ends up getting the “Briouat”, and Sensoria nervously says she’ll have the same. It doesn’t occur to him, but how is she able to read the menu, or his note for that matter? He asks her that question.
 
“U-um… I can’t, to be honest. Last time I was here Cirrus ordered for me, and as for your note I had to run around looking for someone to read it to me…”
 
Emerald asks what Sensoria has been doing since the last time they saw each other.
 
“Patrol, mostly. Or perhaps I should say surveillance? Nothing too sinister has been happening lately, and that’s the only thing my boss calls me in for.” She says with a nervous giggle, “Oh yeah! Thank you for the tip about that man impersonating a child at the Ponycare benefit. It seems he was trying to kidnap them and hold them for ransom.”
 
Emerald nods gravely. He knew that Shock Top was up to no good. Trying to be suave again, Emerald asks why she doesn’t have all the schoolcolts falling over one another for her.
 
“D-don’t tease… Why would they want me?”
 
Emerald says she is quite lovely, and then changes the subject and says he’s been trying to learn magic now, and knows a little, mentioning the focus he got.
 
“Oh! Neat! Heh-heh… What kind of stuff are you learning to do first?” Sensoria asks, leaning forward.
 
Emerald mentions Goat magic, and Sensoria smiles and says, “M-maybe if you want to learn some pony magic sometime I-I can help you…?
